Chinese New Year ~~

Chinese New Year just started for about seven days. For me, it seems kinda boring and dull. Apart from visiting relatives & friends, getting Red Packets, eating a lot, I basically did nothing. No matter what, the celebration every year is still the same. It all looks like a tradition to me. Is my thinking too simplistic? You bet.

Last Saturday, I happened to move down to both my hometowns, my father’s and my mother’s for a week. Sadly, at my father’s hometown, because of the shortage of rooms, we had to stay at an inn. Gosh, the inn was horrible and the service there sucked. I wondered if the inn was the worst in the Earth. If it was not for the faulty air-cond cooling down the room, we would have slept under the bridge. Luckily the price wasn’t that high.

Besides that, I really brought my homeworks to my hometown to be done but apparently the distractions were too great. I found myself watching TVs and listening to musics rather than doing my homework, even thoough I managed to finish a few easy ones. Obviously the school teachers gave us a lot of homeworks, maybe they were trying to murder us. Couldn’t they understand we needed a rest? Come on, PMR is eaight months away!

My Red Packets counts this New Year was seriously low by the way. I only get around 40 which wasnt a lot for me. I did a sum of the money I got. All I got was 200 ringgit. A lot, erh?

Recently, I found that TV was addicting too. Because of the funny variety shows on the TV, Iwas glued to it for 4 hours straight once. I laughed so much in front of the TV. Remember that laughter is the best medicine. Just laugh more and hopefully you will be cherrier.

Thanks for reading!
